Our high school marching band will be marching at the Thayer County Fair Parade on Wed. August 7th at 6:00pm. *Band members need to be at the school by 5:30pm to get ready. *We are 3rd in line and will check in at 5:45pm by the old library.

Having problems with PowerSchool? Please take a look at our PowerSchool Cheat Sheet that is attached! Still having issues after looking at the cheat sheet, please email lexi.fayle@deshlerdragons.org. Survey: It has been brought to our attention that the survey may not show as completed, but if you are sure you have submitted it one time, then disregard it. Each time you go to click on the form, it will act as if it has never been completed before. That may not be the case, but the form doesn't know how to decipher that. School Forms: If your forms say they are pending, you are all good to go. They just need approved on our end! Any questions at all, don't hesitate to reach out!

Yikes! It is August 1st and we still have lots of missing forms...from the online required paperwork (all K-12 students) to physicals & NSAA consent forms (grades 7-12). PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Check the front of the school website to see what you have left to do to get these completed BY TODAY! The Title I forms (elementary only) and K-12 surveys are now fixed, so please complete those if you are a parent who has the rest of your forms done...sorry for the inconvenience! 6-12 STUDENTS: Check your PS schedules & fill out the drop/add if there are corrections. Don't forget that VB/FB/XC conditioning starts on MON, AUG 5TH for HS! www.deshlerpublicschools.org

Our Dragons had an ELITE Youth Football Camp this week! Multiple campers across all ages! Lots of growth, learning, and skill development! Thank you to our campers! Thank you to all the coaches and HS players for their help! The future of Deshler Football is bright! #FeedTheFlame

Marching Band practices for the Thayer County Fair started tonight! *REMINDER-All band members should enter the building through the office entrance for practices from July 30th - August 2nd due to the floors in the hallway being waxed.

YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMP UPDATE!! Our Youth FB Camp has been moved earlier up in the day due to forecasted Heat Index being too high for activities! Camp will be held on Monday, July 29th and Tuesday July 30th. The times will now be: 10am-Noon on both days! In addition, there will be no split in grades! This time will be for all K-8 students who had signed up!! Thank you for your understanding, we are looking forward to a great two days of action and seeing our Dragons get to work!!! #FeedTheFlame

Marching Band practices for the high school start this next Monday night. Practices are as follows: 6:30-8:00pm July 29th July 30th July 31st Aug. 1st Aug. 2nd Aug. 5th Aug. 6th We will march in the Thayer County Fair Parade on Wednesday, August 7th.

TOMORROW, July 27th, is the last day of the summer reading program to earn stickers AND a free pass to the NE State Fair! Thank you to all of those who participated & the sponsors of this program! Reading is one of our school improvement goals for the upcoming years!

The lifters won't even recognize the floor going into the weight room thanks to Allie! We are excited to show off the changes to the ag room bathrooms by Ava and Kira, the main entry, parking lot, new work room and more! Stay tuned and thank you to Allie, Kira and Ava!
