Do we have anyone interested in coaching our 3rd - 8th grade girls for GIRLS ON THE RUN (GOTR) this year? We continue to work on letter identification at preschool. Last week we used letter magnets to match the letters on the turkey. We also use dot markers to identify letters in our letter journals.

What do you do when your High Ability Learner (HAL) numbers are growing? Try to find ways to keep challenging them and growing their opportunities! DPS is happy to announce we are the recepients of yet ANOTHER grant - this time a HAL grant for $3785. November is wrapping up...it is time for the December menus! We are also working to help our students make HEALTHY food choices - as we have seen an increase in behaviors and a decrease in concentration. Don't forget...unlimited fruit/veggies daily...at no extra cost!

Mon, Nov 25th -- JH GBB at BDS moved to this night from 11/26. 6:30 pm start time with possibly one extra quarter. Also on Monday, the one act will be performing for the parents/public at 7 pm. Come and watch if you would like!

Deshler received 5 Honorable Mention acting awards at the TVC One Act competition today! Congratulations to the entire cast on a great performance! Those receiving awards were: Jordan LeFave, Danica O'Neal, Johnny Hinz, Ella Martin, and Logan Schmidt.

Introducing the 2024-2025 Junior High Quiz Bowl Team!

Less than one week to order stadium seats from Stu-Co! These will be available just in time for Christmas and would make a great gift for any Dragon fan. Orders due Monday, November 25th.

The Junior class attended a college fair today. They had a chance to visit with several different colleges from across Nebraska and attend a breakout session on internships, entrepreneurship, and resources from EducationQuest.
