The annual D Club Banquet has been held, and the Academic Awards are set for TUE at 9 am -- which is also our seniors' last day.
Those giving scholarships locally are invited to present them at this year's awards ceremony.

A big thank you to Reinke Manufacturing AND our welding students for the greenhouse tables that they are producing! Twenty-three of these tables were dropped off at the REINCOAT Galvanization Plant this week, and 15 more still need to be welded and galvanized. We can't wait!

The fifth and sixth graders took a field trip to Hearts United for Animals today! The sixth graders chose their Patriots Day service project to donate different items to HUA for the animals they shelter and the fifth graders gathered items too. We got to tour their facilities and pet some of their dogs!








Congratulations to sophomore Carson Sieber, selected for the first ever Hastings Tribune All-Sports Awards Banquet. Sieber will be recognized on WED, MAY 29th at the Adams County Fairgrounds.
Sieber's honors will be published in the May 30th Tribune. Congratulations, Carson!


This week we used shaving cream to work on letter formation. Using shaving cream can help kids develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination by picking up , moving and drawing with their fingers in the shaving cream.

aRiseUp students played BINGO with the nursing home residents and then celebrated the end of the school year with root beer floats!

Congratulations to our DPS juniors Brent Buescher and Tregan LeFave, who have both been selected to represent Deshler at Boys' State this summer in Lincoln. Brfent is the son of Ryan and Julie Buescher while Tregan LeFave is the son of Shannon and Mary LeFave. Both boys are involved in numerous activities at DPS, and we are excited to hear about their experience!
