Yesterday, the Junior High enjoyed a Health Fair put on by Thayer County Health Services. They learned about healthy living, disease prevention, helmet safety, and alcohol prevention.

Danessa has been selected as a World Language Distinguished Scholar. Her portfolio was evaluated and judged on criteria such as comprehensibility, effective and accurate use of language structure, and complexity of vocabulary. She demonstrates leadership in language learning as well as a commitment to language
study.

Good luck to the HS Track Team competing at the Twilight Track Meet on Thursday in Deshler! The meet begins at 3:00pm.
Last night Bailey Fuller, Danica O'Neil, Payton Bauer, Jordan LeFave, Gracelyn Martin, and Tasia Schardt represted Deshler as members of the TVC Honor Band. The day was spent rehearsing with other TVC Honor Band members. The day ended with a concert held at the Masonic Center in Hastings. These six students represented Deshler very well!
Reinke Manufacturing in Deshler is once again offering a summer weld program for students who are 16 years of age by June 5, 2024. Seats fill up quickly. If completed, students will earn a $500 stipend. Let Mrs. Epley know if you would like to sign up for the class!
