THIS FRIDAY...Dragon Youth FB Camp! 🛑 No registration! 🛑 No fees! Just fundamentals and fun!

Day 1 of FFA Officer Retreat was a blast! Our team hiked the Valentine Wildlife Refuge. They were tasked with taking a photo and then relating that photo to one of the 3 components of the FFA mission: premier leadership, personal growth, and career success. Then, students drew a tree to represent their leadership and FFA journey this year. The roots represented the foundation that has helped them get to this point. The branches are their goals for themselves this year. The fruit or leaves are the outcome they want to have as leaders. These trees were used to make a team vision board they will hang up in the ag room. The night ended with some healthy competition! Officers competed in a relay to see what responsibilities each officer has on the team. They enjoyed catching up with each other and playing games. Day 2 started early this morning as students work on the Program of Activities for the year.

If you are looking for some extra hands to do some yard work, painting, or really anything you need, contact Coach Kalee Schardt. The Deshler VB team wants to help SERVE and SET up our community for success!

Brent Buescher played his last high school BB game last Saturday in the TVC All Star game in Mankato. Jacilyne Peterson has one game left - tonight at 6 pm in Utica! Jacilyne is continuing to play BB at the next level at Concordia next year. Congratulations, Dragons!

One all star game down and another to go! Jacilyne will be playing in the Centennial All Star game on June 17th at 6 pm. Congrats, Jacilyne!

The TVC All Star team swept the Kansas All Star team in last night's stateline VB match. Head to Mankato today at 3 pm to watch the GIRLS' all star BB game with the BOYS' game to follow (approximately 5 pm). Congratulations again to Jacilyne (VB and BB) and Brent!
