Senior Spotlight Thursday! Get to know Gavin!
Today the preschool kids had the opportunity to create their own Christmas tree! They were able to spread frosting on a waffle cone and use Skittles and M & M's to create "lights". Twizzler pull n' peel was used as well. They were able to eat this treat at snack! 🎄🎅🏼
All aboard! The kindergarten class had a Polar Express day! We watched the movie, read the book, and had a discussion about characters, setting, and plot! We also discussed the similarities and differences between the movie and the book. Fun was had by all!
Chenistry class working on glass tubing for future labs. They worked on cutting, rounding, and bending.
The 7th grade quarter 2 STEM class spent the quarter working on mini motor projects! Many of them succeeded with their projects!
Thank you to Rachel from the Thayer County Extension Office for coming into the 3rd grade classroom yesterday.! We learned about different beef by-products. I think we were all surprised by the different products that we can make using parts of a beef cow!
Today the kindergarten class went on a scavenger hunt around the room to find high frequency words. This allowed for the students to practice writing their words while also getting in some movement!

Congratulations to our wrestling team. We have 7 competing this year. The 5 boys wrestled in Wood River on Friday where Holden got 1st. Today, they wrestled in Meridian where the team placed 2nd. Individually, Deshler's wrestlers placed as follows: Holden - 1st Rigley- 2nd Carl-2nd Matthew-7th Johnny-7th Deshler has 2 girls out and they wrestled in Crete today where Carlee got 1st, and Gracelynn also competed. Congrats to the team!
