I'm reminiscing about the fun that was had at our preschool holiday party. Cookies, popcorn, ornament decorating and a game! It's fun to watch children engaging with others outside of the preschool classroom!

Happy New Year! We welcomed back preschool students on Tuesday and they jumped right into learning! Letter identification can be taught in a variety of ways that keep students engaged and excited. Today we played "go fish" with cards that had upper and lower case letters on them. Students learn to take turns, ask for cards, develop their fine motor skills, make pairs, draw, be a good sport and many other skills.

Now THESE are some smart cookies! Students scoring in the 85th percentile or higher were recognized tonight in our High Ability Learner program...as well as those scoring a 24 or higher on their ACT. Phenomenal work, Dragons -- you deserve a cookie and a pat on the back! 🍪

What do YOUR kids need to enjoy outdoor recess when it snows out? Snow boots, pants, hats and gloves to be in the snow. No snow boots means the tennis shoes have to stay on the concrete - which makes for some sad recess kids! Need coats, hats or gloves? Let us know!
