It's a great day to be a DRAGON! The basketball teams both won their games at the TVC Tournament, Carlee Hinz qualified for the State Wrestling Meet, and two of our students (Makenna Freitag and Logan Schmidt) medalled at the Aurora Speech Meet!

After a very tough day of competition at Aurora, Logan (12th in Humorous) and Makenna (6th in Novice Informative/8th in Novice Ent.) are bringing home some hardware!

With the last win, Carlee Hinz is STATE BOUND again this year!
She will wrestle again in the championship today - but has qualified regardless. Good luck in the final round, Carlee! Bring home the gold!

THERE WILL BE NO AFTER-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES TODAY (INCLUDING ASP) due to the roads getting slick. That means no high school BB or wrestling practice either.

Learning ear notching of pigs using litter and individual numbers was the highlight of today's lesson in Animal Science. Students used their mom's birthday to complete this task (we won't mention who didn't know when their mom's birthday was!).
