The DHS cheerleaders competed at the Nebraska Cheer State Championships in Grand Island on Friday, February 18. They had fun competing against teams from across the state! Good job, ladies!


Winter sports are a wrap! Both BB teams were one game away from competing in the sub-district championships, & Holden was one match away from going to state wrestling. Another highlight in the boys' game last night was Gavin N scoring 33 pts! GIRLS BB: Meet on THU after school!


Congrats to those selected for Meridian Honor Choir on Apr 1st...Band-Marlee, Choir-Danica and Chloe! The concert at 6 PM is always a packed house, so arrive early! Schools from all over the state audition. Great work, Marlee, Danica & Chloe - we're proud of you!

Jrs took the ACT Practice Test today at DPS. The statewide test is ONE MONTH from today. Students have completed the John Baylor Test Prep, and have both online and print materials available to help prepare them. REMINDER: Fri, 2/25 is the last day to register for the 4/2 test!

Archery practice will officially start on WED, 2/23. DLS 4-6 students will come up for 7th period PE on Mon/Wed; DLS JH will practice with DPS JH during the 8th prd PE class, and HS will practice during 7th prd. All 4th-6th graders will practice during their PE time!

Alexis, or "Lexie" as the kids at DPS call her, encourages students to keep pushing on, and she plans to do just that as she enrolls in Doane and their pre-dentistry program. Congratulations, Lexie, for pushing on & getting the job done!
