We visited the Senior Center yesterday and worked on creating Valentine's for the windows. Participating in intergenerational programs can help build meaningful relationships and may decrease social isolation and increase older adults' sense of belonging, self-esteem, and well being, while also improving social and emotional skills of children. We look forward to this outing every month!
We had so much fun with this STEM activity. We worked together to build igloos with shaving cream and re-usable ice cubes! This activity promoted creativity, critical thinking and problem solving.
The Kindergarten class has been learning all about movement, gravity, and force. To end their unit, they created paintings using marbles, gravity, and inclined planes!

The JH choir students presented their research and perform projects this week. Each group picked one of their favorite bands to research. They presented their research to the class and then perfomed their favorite song by that band. Great job!
