This week, our kindergarten class has been learning all about the sun and how it affects the Earth! We explored how the sun gives us light and warmth, helps plants grow, and why it’s important to protect ourselves from its rays. At the end of the week, each student carefully planned and built their very own creation designed to protect them from the sun. The kids were so creative with their designs, and it was wonderful to see their problem-solving and engineering skills shine!

Join the Cheerleaders in cheering on the boys as they take on Wilcox-Hildreth! Wear your comfiest pajamas and show your school spirit!

TONIGHT: At halftime, we will recognize summer AR goal achievers AND our scholarship winners. We will recognize our High Ability Learners (HAL) during our winter sports' season after collecting more data! Congratulations to these students:

There will be a regular board of education meeting on Monday, September 8th, at 7:30 PM in the HS conference room. It missed getting put in the newspaper this month!

Also, don't forget to attend our Patriots Day Program on 9/11 at 10 AM in the gym!

Your child(ren) should be bringing home their school pictures TODAY.

Seventh grade Life science working on replica skulls to practice metric system science skills.

Every Tuesday, Mrs. Kane visits us! She provides the Second Step Curriculum which teaches crucial social-emotional skills, improves children's self-control, helps build empathy and problem solving abilities. All of this leads to better emotional regulation and increased school readiness. Ask your preschool kids about Ted and Anna. (Those are the names of her puppets) 😊💜

FCA MTG ON THU, 9/4/25 AT 7:30 AM: Breakfast will be served and Pastor Darrell will be talking to the group!

If you haven't brought your $30 for membership dues/tshirts, please do so. You can still join without a shirt!

TIME CHANGE: The JH VB games on Monday will be in EXETER and will start at 4 PM. B team followed by A team. Note the change in location and time!

REMINDER: The missing list will be ran today. If your child has missing work, he/she is expected to stay for ASP and come with the work completed tomorrow. On Friday morning at 8 AM will be the first time the eligible list is ran.

Reminder: There is an FFA Chapter meeting tomorrow, September 3 at 7:00 AM in the gym. The range practice that was scheduled on September 3 from 7-8AM will now be September 3 from 7:30-8:00 AM AND September 4 from 7:30-8:00 AM.

A reminder as we head into the second week of hosting school activities on our schoolwide expectations at our events for our students.

The biggest ones being SUPERVISION by our parents of their students AND students staying IN THE EVENT AREA during the performance. Students are NOT allowed to come into the school building or classrooms during home events nor remove property from the school.

Below are all expectations:

BE SAFE:
Sit in bleachers with your parents
Please keep walkways clear

BE RESPECTFUL:
Keep cell phones off or silent
Use good listening skills
Stay for entire perfromance

BE RESPONSIBLE:
Please use the restroom before the program begins
Please be on time
Limit trips in & out of event area
