4th Graders had a blast learning all about agriculture at the AgVenture Day! Their day included roping, learning about animal by-products, how to care for animals, and many more aspects of agriculture. They were also treated to grilled hamburgers sponsored by the Nebraska Cattlewomen.

We continue to further develop our fine motor skills in preschool. These small muscles are strengthened through practice and involve the coordination of the brain, muscles, nerves, and vision. During this activity the students were asked to use a ball with a slit for the mouth to pick up different colored bears.

This week, our kindergarten class has been learning all about the sun and how it affects the Earth! We explored how the sun gives us light and warmth, helps plants grow, and why it’s important to protect ourselves from its rays.
At the end of the week, each student carefully planned and built their very own creation designed to protect them from the sun. The kids were so creative with their designs, and it was wonderful to see their problem-solving and engineering skills shine!

Seventh grade Life science working on replica skulls to practice metric system science skills.
Every Tuesday, Mrs. Kane visits us! She provides the Second Step Curriculum which teaches crucial social-emotional skills, improves children's self-control, helps build empathy and problem solving abilities.
