The Cross Country team did very well yesterday at Superior Invitational yesterday. We had two placers in the Junior High meet Makenna placed 14th and Dean placed 15th. Daphne placed 6th in the varsity female race. All of Dragons who have ran at Superior set course pr's.

Stand for the Silent by Kirk Smalley from Oklahoma is TODAY from 1:30-3 pm for 6th-12th grade, the public, and the parents. This 1.5 hour presentation covers anti-bullying efforts, school culture and suicide. Please attend if you can!

The students in Personal Finance shared the Five Foundations of Financial Peace from the Dave Ramsey curriculum today with the UNK transitional teaching supervisor Suzanne Jagels, Mr. Loontjer and Mrs. Epley.

English 8 students broke into groups to read informational articles about the mystery genre before starting Unit 1 in Study Sync. The groups each had a different article to read/review and then share their findings with the class.

It is the policy of the Deshler Public Schools that special education records be kept for at least five years after they are no longer needed. Within those five years, the parents may have the records or they will be destroyed.
If you had a child who graduated from Deshler in the year of 2018 or if you have a child dismissed from special education services and graduated in 2023, you have the right to the personally identifiable data contained in your child’s Special Education Record.
If you would like copies of your child’s Special Education records, please contact Deshler Public Schools, on or before October 1, 2023. Otherwise all records will be destroyed on October 1, 2023.
