The most important thing a teacher does? It is far more than the lesson plans, the standards, or some test. Those of us in education have all had THAT teacher who really touched our lives. Mrs. Moeller is THAT teacher for Gracie Miller, FCA senior. Thank you, Mrs. Moeller! 💜💛

Another shout out to our FCA group and our generous local businesses! FCA purchased running belts for our cross country runners, AND… FCA matched the funds raised from our T-shirt sales for cancer awareness with Reinkes, MetalQuest, and Midwest Bank offering to do the same!

And finally…our 6th-8th graders at the top of their MAPS scoring game: 6th - Jackson Beam (all 4 tests!), 7th - Makenna Freitag (all 4 tests!), and 8th - Danica O’Neal (Reading and Science) and Landyn Tuma (Language Usage and Math). Great work, young Dragons!

Great job, Dragon cross country runners on 9/26 at UNK! Daphne set a new personal record by over 1:15. Hunter set 3 new personal records: course record by 3:34, season record by 1:01, & career personal record by 54 seconds. Catch them at the TVC Meet on Thu @ Clay Center!

Deshler finishes runner-up in the Hampton Tournament, falling in two sets to Clarkson Leigh: 12-25, 10-25. Change to the calendar for October 13/14. Deshler FB will now travel to Lawrence on FRIDAY, October 14th, instead of Thursday, October 13th.

There was a murder mystery in Ms. Kendall's room, and evaluating expressions helped us crack the case!
