MAPS TESTING: This will be concluded this week & students are reminded that MAPS scores are used for class placement, including the ability to take dual credit classes. Please do your best & get a night of rest before - as well as a good breakfast! MON: ASP begins for K-12; the time of the JH BBB game has been moved up to 6 PM. TUE: Warren & Velda Wilson Scholarship Due; Pizza Meal Deal at the BB games (varsity only!) THU & FRI: FAFSA Appts for our seniors AND their parents (need accounts created at least 3 days prior to your appointment). The Dragons came up short against the Titans tonight in basketball at home, but the alumni band night was a huge success! Our wrestlers also fared well -- finishing first (Carlee Hinz), second (Gracelyn Martin) and third (Holden McDonald) at their meet in Franklin.

Go cheer on the JH boys basketball team as they play versus the Warriors in Red Cloud on Monday, January 8th! Tipoff is at 6:00pm.

Alumni Band Night is this Saturday! We will have a practice for our alumni on the stage from 12:30-1:30pm on Saturday before the game. We will start playing at 4:00pm. Come and join us!

The junior class will be hosting a Baked Potato Bar at the basketball games on Saturday, January 6th...come out and support them!

JH BBB at Red Cloud on Mon will begin at 6 PM (not 6:30 PM), and will be "A" team followed by the "B." Reminder for FRI @ Shelton: No JV GBB (JV BBB will start at 4:45 PM) and next TUE v Hampton: NO JV at all, G Varsity begins @ 6:30 PM. NO WRESTLING @ WILBER CLATONIA ON FRI!

Before Christmas break, the morning preschool class visited the Senior Center and worked on puzzles with them. When doing puzzles they can help children to develop memory skills, as well as an ability to plan, test ideas and solve problems. Puzzles can also help develop hand-eye coordination, develop finger and hand muscles, learn to reason and deal with frustration and learn to persevere and be patient.

Congratulations to Carlee Hinz on her second place finish, Holden McDonald on his third place finish, and Gracelyn Martin on her 7th place finish at today's Fillmore Central Holiday Wrestling Invite!

Congrats to the Lady Dragons on their holiday tournament championship in Tri County tonight, winning 45-31. The boys lost a close one by four points. Good luck to the wrestling team tomorrow morning at 10 am in Geneva. Way to "take charge," Lady Dragons! 🏆

Good luck to our HS Wrestling team competing at Fillmore Central on Saturday, December 30th! The meet is scheduled to begin at 10:00am in Geneva.
