During this activity, students were given the opportunity to use clothespins to match the uppercase letter shown. By using clothespins, we are able to help children develop strong finger joints and precision by squeezing with their thumb and index finger.
We have been working on letter identification and forming letters in preschool and introduced the wood pieces from our Handwriting curriculum. Students were given the opportunity to use big lines, little lines, big curves and little curves to form letters during small group.
