Good luck to our cross country team TODAY at McCool Junction and next week at Districts at Elks Country Club in Hastings! Girls run at 1:30 pm and boys at 2:15 pm (approximately) at districts. JH runs at 4 pm today with HS to follow.
We are awaiting results from today's FFA land judging in Adams County, but in the meantime, we want to brag on these students...their attention to detail and respectful behavior is to be commended.

Today was Custodian Appreciation Day...and we have some great ones! Thank you to Brad, Keith and Dustin (not pictured) from all of us at DPS for all that you do!
Ironically, the custodians also wanted to give a shout out to the Hansen girls for staying after every game and picking up trash! We appreciate your kindness in helping our custodians out!

FRI, OCT 20TH: K-6 students are asked to bring a pumpkin large enough to decorate by this date (but no larger than 12" tall), or more if you have extras for others. These will be judged by scariest, funniest & most original. If you have extra supplies or specific ideas, we will take those too!
OCT 31ST: K-6 students are going to "trunk or treat" the secondary students at the end of the day, with the secondary students judging their costumes as well...which are also going to have prizes awarded for scariest, funniest, and most original...just like the pumpkins! Please don't send your child in his/her costume to school!
