The First Grade students made these cards for Veterans the last week of school. They are being sent to the Grand Island Veteran’s Hospital to remember the Veterans for Memorial Day.

The 2nd and 5th graders spent time at Parkview Haven this morning decorating the sidewalks and playing Tic-Tac-Toe!




Lacey Schmidt ran two hard races. She ran a 2:33 in the 800 and a 5:57 in the mile. Nice job Lacey!

Free Speed and Agility Clinic back again for summer '21!! We are excited to offer our speed and agility clinic to Deshler athletes in grades 7-12 beginning June 3rd at 7:30 AM. Ann Hubl is our guest trainer and the class will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30-8:00 AM. Please contact Coach Nash for more information if necessary.

Today the 2nd graders learned about the life of an apple and created an apple chain with the help of some high school students. 🍎🍏




Seventh grade English students create bumper stickers to reflect the themes of two folk tales.


Sixth Grade took a large supply of newspapers, towels and blankets to Hearts United for Animals of Auburn, Nebraska. They had a great time making the deliveries and playing with the animals.

The 7th graders spent all week compiling real data from their own lives (and just for fun, we gathered some staff data too). We then organized it, compared it, and created different graphs to represent it.



The agriculture and science classes learned about the the stomach of the ruminant animal from UNL's mobile beef lab.
Today we celebrate the last day of Teacher Appreciation Week. Many thanks to our amazing parents, businesses, and community members! Today staff were treated with a beautiful Trail Mix Bar.

The 4th and 5th graders enjoyed their field trip to the state capitol and a special visit from Senator Brandt!


District track will be held on Wednesday, May 12th at Kenesaw. Field events start at 10am and running events start at 1pm. Here is the full schedule for that day.
