This past week during our small group activity we did a science experiment called "Apple Volcano" that involved apples, baking soda and vinegar. We discussed what a chemical reaction was as well. The kids thought it was pretty awesome!
This past month our Preschool classes have implemented teeth brushing into their daily routine. Everyday after either breakfast or lunch our toothbrush helper assists with handing out the toothbrushes. We all sit at the table and brush for 2 minutes. We discuss the importance of dental hygiene and why having healthy teeth is important.
The volleyball team ended up 2nd at the Hampton tournament. They defeated Red Cloud in three sets and Hampton in two sets. They lost to Clarkson Leigh in the championship game. Nice job today ladies!
