Meet your High Distinction Honor Roll JH/HS students! These smarties earned an average of a 95% or higher GPA and put academics first during their school day — 57 students earned this honor (not all are pictured). Great work!


BB and wrestling meetings for high schoolers took place today and yesterday — but that doesn’t mean it is too late to sign up!
Employers and scholarship committees want employees/students who are involved. Get involved in one of these programs - it’s not too late!


English III students created children myth books last week and had the opportunity to read them to the kindergarten class today.





The Honor Roll picture for JH/HS has been moved to WED morning at 8:10 AM. Congrats to our students on the High Distinction (95% avg minimum), Distinction (91-94% avg) & Honor Roll (87-90% avg). Elem'y Honor Roll will still be taken on Fri morning!

Public speaking increases your self-confidence, encourages creativity, and improves your memory! Attend a Speech Team Informational Meeting in Ms. Kendall's room THURSDAY during Homeroom...even if you are on the fence about joining, come listen to what we have to say!


DPS students interested in college credits for the second semester took advantage of the early enrollment and signed up last Thursday with SCC for in-person, fiber (live classes online) and web-based classes. Students are doing great in the dual credit classes the 1st semester!


Biology students in Mr. LeFave’s room started their owl pellet lab today and will be rebuilding the bones to create their shrew, mole or vole…lots of hair, bones, teeth and feathers today!




WEDNESDAY is the last day to purchase your tickets for the musical on November 12th! Don't delay!
Tickets are available at Midwest Bank or at Deshler Public Schools and are $20 per ticket for the meal, play & musical!
