Makinna has great advice to underclassmen and his certainly followed that advice herself...take advantage of the opportunities in a small school! Makinna is a very involved student from the extra-curricular activities she is involved in to the dual credit classes she has taken!

Deshler FCA and basketball teams joined the Lawrence/Nelson FCA group tonight to take in the Tri City Storm and Lincoln Stars hockey game in Kearney! A great night of friendship and fun for these students used to competing against each other on the court. #fca

Reminder: The FCA and basketball bus will leave the school at 4:30 for the hockey game. Dress warm and arrive a little early to grab some pizza for the road! Wear your FCA shirt if you have one!
A special thank you to our Read Across America guest readers! We enjoyed all the fun stories!

#feelthelovefriday Mrs. Hansen is a teacher who comes early, stays late, and can be found at most all of our students’ activities. Mallory Kleen and the rest of us thank you for your hard work day in and day out, Mrs. Hansen!

The speech team's season came to an end at Districts. This team brought home SEVERAL medals in '22, with Danessa making finals at Districts & ending with 6th place. We are hosting "speech night" on Mon, 3/14 at 6 PM in Mrs. Parks' room so that you can see their talents!

The 22-23 school calendar has been approved! It is hard to believe that we are working on next year's schedule/calendar already, but 3rd quarter ends next Thu. If your child has late or missing work, please make sure it is handed in by then or they stay for ASP (Mon - Wed).

Summer and softball/baseball are only two months away! Turn your form in by Monday, March 14th!

Yesterday our guest reader was Dr. McDonald. We enjoyed having him visit our classroom. Thank you for taking time out of your day to read to us! We appreciated it!
