NHS Members cleaned the highway Sunday afternoon. A hot one, but they got it done!


DPS students attended a careers in construction day at Milford campus of SCC. They learned about a variety of careers with hands on experiences. This was a fulfilling day that the students are willing to repeat.


Congratulations to the cross country team on their finishes at the Fillmore Central Meet last week and good luck on Thursday in Hebron! Both Chloe Fangmeyer and Hunter Glass PRed in Geneva. Way to run, Dragons!





The 2nd graders loved investigating micro habitats around our school! We found all sorts of living things!

The 5th graders had a Powerful Paper Challenge on Friday. They had to build a structure made of only paper and tape to hold a book. These engineers did an amazing job!

Mr. Corman’s Info Tech class tried out their coding and race car skills on Friday, September 16th with Holden McDonald’s car being named as the Kleenex box race car winner! What a fun way to use some hands-on learning!

3rd grade brainstormed human needs and plant needs for survival. Students used a Venn Diagram to compare/contrast the basic needs. We had a great classroom discussion after completing our diagrams!

During our science experiment this week we learned about making a hypothesis. We used a tub of water to see if an apple and an orange would sink or float. In comparison they used a lock and it sunk.
