
Kristin (Hansen) Ronnenkamp was at DPS today to work with the junior high and high school choirs and the high school band.
Kristin is a DHS graduate and is a member of the Omaha Symphonic Chorus.

Way to go, JH! From starting JH track on Monday (and it was COLD!), to a state-qualifying finish at JH FFA quiz bowl on Tue to runners-up at the LN Quiz Bowl on Wed (and it came down to the last question!), to showing the 6th graders around today, they have had a busy week!











Today the 5th grade scientists explored how coal mining affects the Earth’s spheres using toothpicks and chocolate chip cookies.



From celebrating pi day on 3/14 to celebrating our elementary teachers, there is always a lot to celebrate at DPS!
Thank you to Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Baker for all you do for our elementary students day in and day out. Mr. Corman and Mr. Brenn received smoothies today as well.




Congrats to senior Kaden Lanham, this semester's recipient of the Reinke DC Scholarship. Kaden plans to attend SCC and will have ALL of his gen ed credits completed before he steps foot on campus -- all while working in his trade at Reinke Mtg.
DPS is very proud of you, Kaden!


Our musical cast and crew have been busy running lines, learning music, blocking, painting and preparing the set. The choreographer will be here next week to work with students for three days.

The Deshler golf team will be looking sharp this season with their new Dragon towels (from FCA) and golf push carts (not pictured, but from the athletic boosters).
Good luck to the team! The season begins on Tue, Mar 28th in Superior. The Dragons are coached by Andy Brenn.

We have some spectacular speech students! Jocelyn Berggren, Trinity Hayes, Jordan LeFave & Gracie Hinz gave their speeches to a crowd on Monday night. To have the confidence to do this is to be commended, but the job these four did was phenomenal! Thanks to our coaches as well!
