We were made aware that PowerSchool is down this morning. Teachers are unable to update grades and attendance as of right now. This means for students and parents that the ineligibility report will not be ran until PowerSchool is back up an running. This also means that your student may have turned in an assignment, but the teacher may not have had time to put that grade in the gradebook. If your student ends up on the ineligible list, and you believe they shouldn't be, please reach out to me via email and I will reach out to the teachers and see what is going on.

7th graders measuring human skulls and learning the names of bones.

We continue to stay busy at preschool! While we are still learning classroom routines and expectations, the kids are catching on quickly! I appreciate that they show up everyday and have that zest and eagerness to learn and be with their friends. We continue to work on our finger strength by working in our journals and doing activities like the one below, where we needed to use tongs to put the correct colored pom-pom in the tray.

There will be NO PRESCHOOL CLASSES at Rising Stars Preschool on Wed, Sep 4th, due to plumbing issues in the PreK building. We apologize for the inconvenience, and are working on the issue. K-12 will be in session.
