Deshler's cross country team competed at the Fairbury meet yesterday. Congratulations to senior Lacey Schmidt who earned 6th place out of approximately 90 runners!

The 6th graders finished their thermal energy unit by creating a device to keep an ice cube from melting. While all the groups were successful, this group took top honors! #theicemachine

Friday's Patriot Day Program hosted by Deshler Public Schools is open to the public. It will begin at 9 AM in the high school gym.


Last week in Preschool we learned all about ourselves! During this particular activity the children had to measure how long their foot was by using colored paper squares . After reviewing our feet, we found out that many kids in our class had the same size of foot!

This week: MAPS makeup testing for grades 7-12 will begin on Tue. Thursday's HSVB game is in NELSON (not Lawrence) & this is also FB Parents Night (XC & VB on 9/21/21). Friday at 9 AM is the Patriot Day Program at DPS & the first time a student can be ineligible for grades.

3rd grade spent today practicing our multiplication and division facts by playing dominoes!

Quarter 1 Industrial Arts students learning how to manually code for the CNC machine and run the designs on the simulator.



Junior Brooklyn Blau and senior Braydan Schleif are the recipients of the Norman & Rosella Lunzmann Memorial Scholarship. These two, among other jrs and srs, will be recognized between the VB games and at halftime of the FB game on Oct. 7th for their college credit class load.


#feelthelovefriday Ms. Kendall is working on her Masters in Math, a SPED teacher, and a mom — but above all, she is a role model to many. Students wrote things such as “She makes everyone feel comfortable” and “She is so open to helping anyone with anything they need in life.”
