It is READ ACROSS AMERICA WEEK next week! And READING is our school improvement goal! Students will be bringing home their AR goal for semester 2, as well as the dress up days for the elementary. Help your child by encouragining reading at home!

The Deshler FBLA Chapter is seeking your support! We are collecting gently used and new shoes as part of a fundraiser. This initiative will not only raise funds for our chapter but also help developing countries by supporting small businesses and providing opportunities for recycling. By donating shoes, you’ll be helping prevent them from ending up in landfills while giving them a second life in communities in need. Accepted shoes must be free of holes or rips and can be of any size or gender. Please bring your donations to Deshler Public Schools, where collection boxes are available. Congratulations to senior Holden McDonald, who wrapped up his wrestling career today at the state tournament. Holden won his first match in the consolation bracket before falling in the second round today.

3rd and 4th grades were presented with flags by Ron Cazee and the Lions Club in honor of Flag day which is celebrated in schools on the 3rd Friday of February each year. Thank you Mr. Cazee!
