Start of Fall Sports Practice (physicals & parent consent forms REQUIRED) — all practices at regularly-scheduled time if players can SAFELY make it and power is restored
7:30 pm: BOE meeting in the HS Conference Room if there is electricity in the building
TUE:
Teacher Inservice, 8 am - 4 pm
DPS Open House, 5 pm - 7 pm (make sure to head out to the Industrial Arts Bldg to see our plans for that space!) —> ALL ONLINE PAPERWORK SHOULD BE SIGNED PRIOR TO THIS DATE!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL - 8 am - 3 pm — no breakfast — MAPS Testing for 6-12 (Science) postponed
3 pm dismissal on FRIDAYS
5 pm: VB scrimmage - Gatorade for admission; buy your activity passes
6 pm: FB scrimmage - Gatorade for admission; buy your activity passes

Aug 7th: New Student Registration, 9 AM to 3 PM
Check your schedule in PowerSchool & complete the DROP/ADD FORM HERE if you need to make changes
Still need to drop/add a class --> see our counselors on this date
New to DPS? Make sure to bring all required paperwork to the school, including updated immunizations, previous school records & a copy of your birth certificate
FREE/REDUCED LUNCH LETTER & FORM -- Self employed? You will also need THIS FORM
Aug 12th: Open House - 5 to 7 PM - Visit the INDUSTRIAL ARTS BUILDING to see our CTE planning!
All online forms should be completed prior to the Open House
NOTE: Jrs/Srs will have poster pictures for SPORTS at 4 PM in the gym. Please get your jersey early from your coach(es) and represent all of our sports at DPS!
