UPDATE: Students who will be 14 years of age before 3/1/27 and who will earn their driving permit by 3/1/27 may now take driver's education classes, and then do the driving portion in March of 2027.
Deshler Public Schools is excited to offer a driver's education class this summer from July 13th through the 17th, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the high school with five (5) hours of additional time for driving that will be scheduled with the instructor.
John Adam will be teaching the course. He has taught Drivers Education at North Loup Scotia (4 years), Greeley (1 year), Ord (6 years) and currently resides in Hebron while teaching at Meridian.
If you are interested in signing up for the class, please complete the form below. The class is $200 per student and is limited to the first 20 students. Payment is needed before we can hold a place in the class for a student, and students will need to have a learners permit to take the driving portion of the class.
Please note driver's education doesn’t provide a driver's license. You will still need to contact your county courthouse to make those arrangements.
